Tension around October 28: Recruitment tests of Postal Department and BINA suspended
The Postal Department and Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) have postponed the recruitment tests on Friday and Saturday (October 27 and 28) in view of the anxiety surrounding the gathering of political parties in Dhaka on October 28.
According to the notification of the postal department released on Thursday, it is notified that the recruitment test scheduled on October 28 for 113 posts of 15-20th grade 8 category of Postmaster General, Central Circle, Dhaka has been temporarily postponed due to unavoidable reasons. According to the decision of selection committee, the next schedule of the examination will be informed to the mobile number of the candidates through SMS.
Besides, the written test of four categories of Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) has also been postponed. According to the notification of the institution, the written tests for the posts of computer operator, typist cum computer operator, PA and office assistant cum computer typist was scheduled on October 27. The examination was postponed due to unavoidable reasons.
The notification also mentions that the new date of the exam will be announced later.
On the other hand, Bangladesh Bank has also suspended the recruitment test for the post of senior officer (general) of eight integrated banks and one financial institution. However, no decision has been taken yet regarding the postponement of Janata Bank Officer (RC) post examination. The number of candidates in this examination in 27 centers of Dhaka is about 67 thousand. The job aspirants have also demanded the postponement of this examination.
